These simple steps will help to preserve the quality of your naturally coloured garment:

- Try to resist over-washing.  Many of us are guilty of washing our clothes after every single time we wear them.  Not only does this cause premature wear, the use of water and chemicals in each wash also places strain on our natural environment. 

Instead, after wearing your item, hang it up in a shady, well-ventilated place to air before returning it to your wardrobe. Wash only when needed.

- Follow the washing instructions provided. Each item I sell has washing instructions attached. If in doubt, hand wash your item or use the gentlest cycle on your washing machine.

- Use gentle laundry soap/detergent.  Products that are better for the environment are often better for your clothes as well.  If your item is wool or silk, please use a products formulated for these fibres.  

​

- Hang your naturally coloured items out to dry in the shade.
