An Eco-Printed Christmas - Workshop

Spend the day discovering your next obsession - eco-printing on silk - while creating some beautiful Christmas gifts that you printed yourself!

In this small group workshop you will forage for leaves to print and then spend the day creating some special gift items, perfect for Christmas.  By the end of this workshop you will have eco-printed a silk scarf, a silk table runner, a silk gift bag and some greeting cards to take home with you.  

Through these activities you will learn about:

- leaf selection

- the basics of printing onto silk and paper

- how to make your own iron mordant

- the basic equipment you will need to eco-print at home

- fabric suppliers for eco-printing

All materials for printing are included in the course.  

I will have additional silk scarves available for you to purchase for a small additional price on the day if you choose - you may want to take a few home with you to keep going. 

Numbers are strictly limited to 6 participants. For safety reasons this workshop is not suitable for children.
